Attached is a confirmation letter for your booking. As per the POPI Act, guests are advised that their Personal Information will be collected in the booking process. Members are requested to notify their guest that they have provided their Personal Information to RCI. The notice is herein attached.

Should there be a Resort Indemnity form attached, all queries or concerns regarding the contents of the form need to be taken up with the resort directly. Please also ensure that the forms are only signed and dated as you check-in. All other information can be completed prior to arrival.

Please be advised that the amended Immigration Act 13 of 2002, Section 40 (1), requires that any business offering overnight accommodation shall make a good faith effort to identify its customers.        

 

What this implies is that you are required to furnish RCI with sufficient information for the resort to identify you upon arrival. This information must match your information that we have on file. The same information will pull through on your confirmation letter, which you have to present upon check-in at a resort. The details on the resort arrivals list must be the same as the guest expected to occupy as per the booking confirmation.

 

In the event that the information does not match, there is a possibility that you will be disallowed occupation. Please ensure that you have proof of identification with you in order to facilitate your check-in.
