This Collection Notice sets out the matters described in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013) (POPIA) as they relate to Vacation Exchanges International (Proprietary) Ltd (operating as RCI South Africa) (we, us, our) when we collect personal information about you.

2. We would like to inform you that your personal information has been voluntarily provided to us, by a third party. You may contact us at 011 258 1000 if you have any query on the circumstances in which your personal information was provided to us. You may also object to our processing of your personal information as referred to in section 11(3) of POPIA.

3. By allowing us to continue to keep your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of that information as described in our Privacy Notice available at https://www.rci.co.za/RC/PrivacyPolicy.aspx?id=10707 (Privacy Notice) and this Collection Notice.

4. Purpose of Collection
4.1. We collect personal information primarily to:
4.1.1. provide you with the products and information that you (or a third party) request from us;
4.1.2. provide you with information about our products and services;
4.1.3. engage in marketing including informing you about products, services or other matters we believe may be of interest to you;
4.1.4. otherwise manage our relationship with you, and for purposes otherwise set out in our Privacy Notice.

4.2. If you do not provide the necessary personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the products, services or information you have requested from us.

5. Sharing of your personal information
5.1. The personal information we collect about you will be collected by or on behalf of us and may be disclosed to third parties that help us deliver our services (including information technology suppliers, affiliates, communication suppliers and our business partners) or as required by law. If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to provide all of our services and products to you. We may disclose your personal information to recipients that are located outside of South Africa, and where information protection standards may differ.

Our Privacy Notice contains information about how you may access the personal information that we hold about you, seek correction of such information if you believe it to be incorrect and how you may complain about a breach of the applicable laws and regulations, and how we will deal with such a complaint.
